As Christians, we are to love our God with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind, and with all our strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our mission here is to understand that we are a central city church, and we ask the question, “Who are our neighbors?”

Food for the Journey
Food for the Journey is a collaborative gardening effort of several PCUSA congregations in Southeastern Wisconsin, and is beginning work on a Matthew 25 project: a multi-church cooperative growing produce for local food pantries / outlets!

MPS: Project STAY
Project STAY is an alternative school offering a nurturing and challenging education to 250 high school students, ages 16–20, who are at risk of dropping out of a traditional high school.

Calvary Community Cards
Calvary has prepared, printed and distributed a pocket-sized Community Resources card for people in need or experiencing homelessness in the central city of Milwaukee. It includes nearly 70 resources for emergency shelters, emergency hotlines, meals, food pantries, “pay what you can” food, employment, education, clothing and basic needs, healthcare, housing, W2 agencies, substance abuse help, eldercare, and advocacy. Cards are being distributed to churches, schools, shelters, clinics, food pantries, the Milwaukee Health Department, and are available in a red box at the Calvary front entrance.
